Product Details

30" × 42" flat poly bags in 2 mil LDPE for protecting bridal gowns, formal evening dresses, full-length dance costumes, and other large-format garments during storage, shipping, and retail display. The wide 30" opening accommodates voluminous skirts and structured bodices without crushing delicate fabric, while the 42" length covers floor-length gowns folded to a manageable size.

Made from 100% virgin LDPE resin, FDA and USDA compliant. The soft, flexible film prevents dust and moisture from reaching the garment without adding the rigidity of a dress form bag. Seal with a heat sealer, tape, or twist tie. Also suitable for large artwork, architectural prints, and oversized retail merchandise. 250 bags per carton.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will a full-length bridal gown fit in the 30x42 bag?

A floor-length gown folded once or twice will typically fit within the 42" length, depending on skirt volume. For heavily structured ballgowns with full crinolines, laying flat and folding carefully allows the bag to close cleanly. The 30" width accommodates most folded skirts without compressing the fabric excessively.

Can these bags be used for large artwork or prints?

Yes — the 30x42 format is well-suited for large-format poster prints, unframed canvas art, architectural drawings, and blueprints. The 2 mil gauge provides protective stiffness while remaining lightweight enough for mailing tubes or flat portfolios.

Are these bags suitable for dry cleaning or alterations use?

These flat bags work for short-term garment protection at dry cleaners and alterations shops. For hanging garment covers, a longer bag or a garment bag with a header slot is typically preferred to keep the dress on a hanger while bagged.
