Product Details

4" × 16" flat poly bags in 3 mil LDPE for individual packaging of cabinet hardware, decorative door handles, long machine screws, hinge sets, and other narrow components that require a protective poly sleeve. The 3 mil gauge provides firm, damage-resistant protection that prevents scratches and surface dings on finished hardware during transit and retail display.

The narrow 4" width is purpose-built for items that would swim in a wider bag, keeping parts organized and presenting a polished, professional appearance when packaged individually for retail or distribution. Made from 100% virgin LDPE resin, FDA/USDA compliant. Can be heat sealed, tied, stapled, or taped. 1000 bags per carton.

Frequently Asked Questions

What hardware components fit best in a 4x16 bag?

This bag is ideal for 10–12 inch cabinet pulls, bar handles, door knobs on stems, T-bar hardware, long lag bolts, drawer slides, and similar narrow components up to about 14 inches in length. It’s also commonly used for artist brush sets, cosmetic brush rolls, and long-form tool kits.

Why choose 3 mil for hardware packaging?

Hardware components often have sharp edges, threads, or protrusions that can puncture lighter film. The 3 mil gauge provides extra resistance against puncture and tear, keeping components clean and the packaging intact through shipping and retail handling.

Can these bags be used for food products?

Yes — the virgin LDPE construction meets FDA and USDA specifications, making these suitable for long narrow food items such as breadsticks, pretzel rods, or individual candy sticks in addition to hardware and tool packaging.
