Material Notes


These pouches are produced from co-extruded 9-layer poly-nylon (polyamide/polyethylene) film. The polyamide (nylon) layers provide the primary gas barrier function, dramatically reducing oxygen ingress that causes oxidative spoilage in proteins and dairy products. The polyethylene inner layers provide the heat-seal surface and direct food contact compatibility. Multi-layer construction also improves puncture resistance compared to mono-layer LDPE pouches of equivalent gauge, making them appropriate for bone-in cuts and rigid seafood shells.



Use Case Notes


These non-channeled pouches require a chamber vacuum sealer for proper air evacuation — they are not compatible with external vacuum sealers or channel bag sealers. At 8 x 12 in., this pouch size accommodates most individual protein portions including steaks, fish fillets, chicken pieces, and half-wheels of artisan cheese. Suitable for both fresh refrigerated and frozen storage applications.
