10″ × 30″ TUF-R® Standard LLDPE Flat Bag — Maximum Length in the 10-Inch Width Series
The LK® 7F1030 is a 10″ × 30″ TUF-R® Standard LLDPE flat bag made from 1.0 mil linear low-density polyethylene. At 30″ deep with a 10″ opening, this is the longest bag in the TUF-R® Standard 10″-width family — a full 2.5-foot enclosure for the most dimensionally demanding products that no shorter standard bag can accommodate.
TUF-R® 1.0 Mil LLDPE at 30-Inch Depth — Consistent Film Performance at Full Length
TUF-R® Standard 1.0 mil LLDPE maintains gauge consistency and film integrity from the sealed bottom to the open top across the full 30″ length. The film’s elongation properties resist tearing under the load of products that approach the bag’s dimensional limits, and the heat-sealed bottom holds firm even with uneven weight distribution across the 10″ width.
FDA-Compliant for Large-Scale Food Items Requiring Full 30-Inch Containment
LK® 7F1030 bags comply with FDA and USDA requirements for direct food contact. The 10″ × 30″ format is used for whole fish, full jumbo produce, two-and-a-half-foot specialty food items, and other large food packaging applications where standard bag sizes fall short.
Why the 10″ × 30″ Bag Is the Maximum-Length Standard in the 10-Inch LLDPE Series for Whole Fish, Architectural Specimens, and 30-Inch Specialty Items
Whole salmon and large trout run 24″–30″ from head to tail in common commercial sizes — the 10″ × 30″ bag is one of the few standard flat bag formats that covers a whole fish without folding or exposure. Soil core samples and geological specimens collected in 30″ PVC tube sections are commonly bagged in this format for laboratory storage and transport. Full-length wooden dowels, architectural molding samples, and PVC tube prototypes in standard 30″ cut lengths all require this depth. Three entirely different professional applications — food service, scientific collection, and construction — share the same bag specification.
