LK® 7G053015 – 5×3×15 LLDPE Side Gusset Bag | 1,000/CS

Sized 5″ × 15″ LLDPE, this gusseted poly bag is well suited to bulky, tall, or deep products that need room to expand.

LK® 7G053015 — 5×3×15 LLDPE Side Gusset Bag, 0.75 Mil, 1,000 per Case

The LK® 7G053015 is a 5-inch wide by 3-inch gusset by 15-inch long clear LLDPE side gusset bag sold in cases of 1,000. The expandable side gussets open the bag from a flat 5×15 profile to a generous 11-inch perimeter, creating a self-standing pouch that accommodates bulky or tall items without tipping. Manufactured from TUF-R® Standard LLDPE film at 0.75 mil, this bag balances flexibility with puncture resistance for a wide range of retail and foodservice packaging tasks.

How Does the Side Gusset Design Improve Packaging for Tall or Bulky Products?

Unlike flat poly bags, side gusset bags expand at the pleated sides when filled, allowing the bottom of the bag to form a stable base. For products such as long candlesticks, bundled produce, or rolled goods, the 5×3×15 proportions provide ample depth front-to-back while keeping the footprint narrow at shelf. The 15-inch body height ensures sufficient length for items that might otherwise buckle or slip out of a standard flat bag, making presentation cleaner and professional.

TUF-R® Standard LLDPE Film — 0.75 Mil Gauge Properties

TUF-R® is a trade-branded LLDPE resin recognized for superior elongation and tear resistance compared to standard LDPE at equivalent gauge. At 0.75 mil, the 7G053015 provides meaningful puncture and tear protection without the bulk or stiffness of heavier gauge films. The clear, glossy surface delivers excellent product visibility, while the low haze allows color-critical items like loose-leaf teas, herbs, or specialty retail products to display their natural appearance to the consumer.

5×3×15 Side Gusset Bags for Loose-Leaf Tea Portions, Craft Ribbon Rolls, and Tall Candle Collections

Tea specialty retailers find the 5×3×15 side gusset ideal for bagging 1–2 oz. portions of loose-leaf teas, where the narrow 5-inch face keeps product visible while the gusset accommodates the volume of whole-leaf blends. Craft and gift supply shops use the same size to bundle 1-inch ribbon rolls, preventing unraveling during display. Home décor retailers package taper candle sets — three to six candles per bundle — where the 15-inch length safely covers the full shaft and the base gusset stabilizes the bundle upright in display bins.
