We use about 700 of these bags a week to pack sandwiches for homeless people in our area. We make all the sandwiches on a single day, then distribute them over the next several days. These heat sealable bags keep the sandwiches fresh. They are expensive (but plastic is forever and is no better unless it is a zip lock type bag and plastic lasts forever), but then what is the value of a stale sandwich on drying bread.
